[users@httpd] php problem in apache

hey,
   i have installed apache2 with DSO support and i later installed php4.3 
something with the apxs. and after doing all when i open an .php3 file i get 
the download box telling me to save it to disk or run with an application. i 
dont know why. is that not recognizing the php module or something else. plz 
help me out

do you have .php3 defined as a mime-type?
