Kay,

The only way to do this with raw slapd/ldap is to capture the LDAP transaction in the log files (we currently generate hundreds of entries per second).

slapd captures timestamps of certain events, and keeps that recorded against the DN in question. createtime, modifytime, createdby, modified by, etc. The data you want is not available in slapd directly. Sorry.

This would mean writing a webapp extension to whimsy or id.apache.org - neither of which are on the agenda currently. This would have to be added to the wishlist.

> Hi, currently OpenOffice uses the command line utilities: list_unix_group.pl, which lists userids of our committers; and list_committee.pl, which lists our PMC members.
> Because we are requested to provide *dates*, in our Board reports, when new committers and PMC members are added, we are wondering if these scripts could be enhanced to provide the following information for each person:
> Registered name, apache userid, date added and/or dropped
> Currently, we are keeping this information manually, and would be very appreciative if we could stop doing that.
> Thank you.
