Categories to talk about: 
-general extension namespace;
-Java-specific-callthru namespace 
(a'la xalan:java.lang.String.blah()); 
-xsl:output element additional attributes;
-
XSLTC-specific extension namespace (may need to be migrated separately);
-'features' you can 
set on Transformer/TransformerFactory (like incremental, etc.);
-'features' you can set on 
our XPath engine or DTM implementation (which I'd say should be the same Xalan namespace, but we 
might later on want to spin off the DTM or XPath engines into independent projects);
-Special 
caching PI we have for using an xsl:for-each over a document() function;
Did I miss anything?
