Performance increase to fetch script content for gadget rendering

Sorry for cross posting, but I would like to ask question to Rave dev
community about how to increase performance to load scripts for gadget
rendering.

I spoke with Franklin and Jesse after OpenSocial meetup last month and
they hinted that Rave turn off concat in Shindig to increase
performance for script loading in their portal page.

I was wondering if you guys could share the experience and approach
taken to increase gadget rendering, especially if you need to render
more than one gadget per page.
