Subversion and LDAP

I see in the documentation that LDAP is mentioned as a authentication
mechanism.

Could somebody explain the LDAP support: hooks, pam, Apache confs, schemas,
etc. as is would apply to Subversion?

Need the flexibility of LDAP for authentication for an upcoming project.

Thanks in advance.

Raymond

If you use Subversion with Apache2 , this howto text will be good to use.

Apache based WebDAV Server with LDAP and SSL
 http://www.binarycode.org/ldp/HOWTO/Apache-WebDAV-LDAP-HOWTO/

In this document, mod_auth_ldap is used for user authentication in using WebDAV
server .
