CMDA summer school support status
Hi all,
As a part of our support of the JPL Climate Center summer school, we are supposed to provide a full working-version package of the JPL CMDA code to CMU today so they can start creating incorporating it into their system and creating a docker image. Are we ready to deliver the full package to CMU?

Hi folks,
I'm still having to mod some peoples emails through (I believe they were
from Lei Pan and Benyang Tang, not 100% sure though). If you're getting
emails directly (i.e., from being CCed here) and not from the mailing list
then you're not subbed to the list. Make sure to get on there! All you need
to do is email <mailing list name>-subscribe@cmda.incubator.apache.org. So
dev-subscribe@cmda.incubator.apache.org for this list.
@Greg, unless I'm mistaken I believe the JPL people are waiting for
clearance for the code to be given out as open source from JPL. So at the
moment the JPL code hasn't been approved for donation yet. Hopefully
someone will correct me here if I'm wrong.

Hi all,
Thanks for starting the public discussion! It's a great first step! To
be clear, Chris wasn't asking to get the code into Github - he was
asking if we could get it into the Apache Git repository at
git.apache.org. Let me know if you need help with that. No need to
wait for a request to be processed :-) The only restriction would be
if the code cannot legally be donated and I think we can work that out
after the fact. Others can correct me if I'm off base.

Great. We need to start using the Git repository at the ASF,
and then let’s work on the code from there? Then CMU can
easily get the code, and contribute to it and review and update
it out in the open.
