   I tried to build the RC2 release and I encountered the exact same error. I tried `rm -rf ~/.m2/repository/org/apache/xtable/` before `./mvnw clean package` but the error was still there. The only thing that made the error go away was to delete the build-cache (`rm -r ~/.m2/build-cache/v1/org.apache.xtable/`). I assume consumers will not have cache entries from previous builds so they will not encounter the failure.
