Complete OpenOffice crash when trying to insert a special cahracter
Steps to reproduce:
In Calc
Click on a cell
select menu 'Insert->Special Chars...'
click on font name (Arial in my case) to view pulldown font list
Enter 'w' to seek to fonts starting with 'w'
...Crash
Same happens in a document.
This does NOT happen when I use the scrollbar to move down to the W's.

If possible, please attach the Apple crash report, see Bug 124970 comment 1

I experience for the 1st time in Writer the same with the latest version
(German), but not with 4.01 (English). Usually I select the 'Symbol' font to
get greek letters. It might already happening scrolling with the mouse the list
to reach 'Symbol', often only after selecting greek letters and clicking 'OK'.
So it is with this menu, not Calc or Writer. This bug should be easy to
reproduce and fix. Certainly a reason not to be able to upgrade to a newer
version. Thanks for your work!
