[jira] [Created] (KNOX-661) NPE in Pac4j Provider when clientName Parameter is Missing

Larry McCay created KNOX-661:
--------------------------------

Summary: NPE in Pac4j Provider when clientName Parameter is Missing
                 Key: KNOX-661
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KNOX-661
             Project: Apache Knox
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Server
            Reporter: Larry McCay
            Assignee: Larry McCay
            Priority: Blocker
             Fix For: 0.8.0

KNOX-659 changed expectations for the clientName provider parameter from optional/conditional to mandatory. This was so that we could determine the possibly default configuration elements for clients that require keystore details.

The lack of this configuration is now resulting in a NPE. We need to fail to deploy the topology as a result of this required parameter being missing with appropriate logging for diagnostics.
