Creation and Modified date/time

Hi,
Does Xindice store the creation and modified
date/time stamps for the stored documents.
I stored the documents using JavaAPI and :
$ xindice ad -c /db/data -f /tmp/document.xml

If so, can someone help me with getting the
creation/modified dates for the documents.
