Maven2 - setting in pom.xml

Hi,

Is it possible to define somewhere in the pom.xml a <server> setting? I want
to avoid placing it in the settings.xml.

I am using the Maven2 Tomcat plugin and for using a tomcat manager
username/password other than the default, I have to provide a server.
I want to have all my project related config only in the pom.xml.
