antelop post task

I am tring to do a http POST using the Antelop ant POST task. However I get
this error -

BUILD FAILED
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError
        at org.apache.tools.ant.Project.executeTarget(Project.java:1246)
        at org.apache.tools.ant.Project.executeTargets(Project.java:1094)
        at org.apache.tools.ant.Main.runBuild(Main.java:669)
        at org.apache.tools.ant.Main.startAnt(Main.java:220)
        at org.apache.tools.ant.launch.Launcher.run(Launcher.java:215)
        at org.apache.tools.ant.launch.Launcher.main(Launcher.java:90)

Can someone advise me on this?

Would you please send your Ant and Java versions? And maybe a snippet of 
your build file showing how you have the post task set up?
