Field validation on the Felix WebConsole according to an existing MetaType definition.

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if the Felix WebConsole does field validation during
entering properties on the Configuration page according to an existing
MetaType definition.

No. Currently the MetaType is only used to coerce the values to the defined type. But validation does not take place.

Validation would involve two steps:

  * Validate the values
  * Report failures back.
