[jira] [Commented] (OOZIE-887) Support for choosing timezone in Oozie UI

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OOZIE-887?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13402547#comment-13402547 ]

Alejandro Abdelnur commented on OOZIE-887:
------------------------------------------

Nice, a couple of comments:

* Similar to the OOZIE_URL env var we should have an OOZIE_TIMEZONE env var, that if set, pre-defines the value for -timezone
* It would be handy if the oozie CLI has an option (i guess the most adequate place is in help subcommand) to list all avail timezone codes and descriptions.

> Add the ability to choose a different timezone (e.g. PST) in the Oozie web UI and command line. This would only be a superficial change that only affects the web UI and command line output; it wouldn't change any of the actual processing, logs, etc.
