[jira] [Updated] (INFRA-9421) Enable authenticated access to ASF Buildbot

Dmitry Blotsky updated INFRA-9421:
----------------------------------
    Description:
Currently the ASF Buildbot does not support authenticated access due to past difficulties and limited authentication. Its authentication mechanisms have improved, and now support multiple users. It would be great to be able to have authenticated access to Buildbot functions like forced builds via HTTP eventually.

The Buildbot docs currently allow for a file to be used to specify authenticated users, in place of the more basic single-user mechanism available in the past. Reference: http://docs.buildbot.net/current/manual/cfg-statustargets.html#authentication
