Is it possible to put all files from <filelist> into one directory in
zip archive?
I use <filelist> to represent a collection of jar files that are
referenced during compilation but when I package the jars into a single
directory in a distribution zip currently I have to copy filelist into a
temporary directory. I have to use this unnecessary annoying copy since
it seems there is no other way to put the list into a particular
directory in the zip archive using <zip>. Did I missed something?

No, but even if they would, then I guess <fileset> or even <zipfileset>
still would not be up to the task AFAIK: they do not allow to strip file
path from files when storing them in zip archive. That is why I was
thinking maybe it was possible to possible to use filelist with zip somehow.
