Re: [VOTE] Release Apache Iceberg Rust 0.10.0 RC4
Posted by Sung Yun <su...@apache.org>.
+1 (binding)
Thanks a lot for driving this release Danny and Shawn!
I verified the following on macOS aarch64:
- Signature and checksum
- LICENSE/NOTICE files, and ASF headers
- tarball matches signed tag v0.10.0-rc.4
- ran tests: make build, make test (1839 pass), and pyiceberg-core build/test.

+1 (non-binding)
Verified locally on macOS (Apple Silicon):
* SHA-512: matches (shasum -a 512 -c: OK)
* GPG signature: good
* Git tag v0.10.0-rc.4 (annotated) resolves to commit b882e63652f4d4a172812994679a1dbc0c64cbd0
* Tarball contents match the signed tag tree (no deviations)
* LICENSE / NOTICE / README.md present; no unexpected binaries in the source
* Builds from source: `make build` succeeded
Separately, the LICENSE/NOTICE files that three crates were missing in RC3 are now present via PR #2830 (a squashed cherry-pick of #2823 and #2828).
All 10 publishable crates carry both files, and every LICENSE/NOTICE in the tarball is identical to the root Apache 2.0 LICENSE and ASF NOTICE.
Thanks for the release, Danny.
