cocoon + jetty: webapp reload

I want to place multiple webapps under one jetty container. Thing is 
after stopping a web application via jetty administration panel I am 
still not able to delete cocoon's log files.

Is this an intended behaviour? If not is it jetty's or cocoon's fault 
for not closing log files?
