License

Hi,

if I want to (and can) open-source a project usign poi (an Eclipse
plugin), what license is the best then, or am I forced by one of the
two to take a license? Eclipse projects use the epl, poi uses the apl.

Regards,
Leen Toelen

Re: License

Posted by ac...@apache.org.
ASL says basically do what you want just give us credit. However IANAL
so go read it yourself:

http://apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0

If you want to discuss licensing further please go to the
licesing@apache.org or legal-discuss@apache.org lists because we're just
coders here.
