Supported AMIs / OSes

Hi guys,

I believe that we should have a list of supported AMIs / OSes for
Whirr for each cloud provider. This should simplify testing in the
future for new releases.

I suggest we should support Centos 5.x and Ubuntu (10.04 or newer).

What do you think?

Right now, jclouds parses rightscale images, as they maintain centos images.

Does EC2 have Centos 5 images (i.e. does jclouds give template
matches), or do we need to use Amazon Linux there?

Cheers,
Tom

Hi, Andrei.

good idea!

jclouds has a osfamily, version, is64bit? list that resolves to amis or
other ids. I'd suggest we use these 3 traits and also publish the specific
amis, imageids, etc these resolved to when we last tested.
