[jira] [Commented] (DRILL-2462) JDBC : ResultSetMetaData.isNullable
returns true even when the column is a required one
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-2462?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14362087#comment-14362087 ]
Rahul Challapalli commented on DRILL-2462:
------------------------------------------
Also when we have a query which uses a function which makes a column required, isNullable should return false. I can give an example of such a function if needed.
The JDBC spec is not very clear on the behavior of isNullable when used with functions. I tested with postgres and postgres returns 'false' for derived columns which are non-nullable.
I can raise a different issue for this if it has a different priority than the original one.
