[jira] [Created] (INFRA-12701) Set up Nexus Repository for Maven Sites

Konrad Windszus created INFRA-12701:
---------------------------------------

Summary: Set up Nexus Repository for Maven Sites
                 Key: INFRA-12701
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-12701
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Nexus
            Reporter: Konrad Windszus

Currently the recommended way of publishing Maven Sites is by leveraging the http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-scm-publish-plugin/. Nexus itself supports hosting Sites also (in a dedicated repository, like described in https://books.sonatype.com/nexus-book/reference/sites.html). Is such a repository already setup in the ASF Nexus and is the Apache Sling project allowed to deploy to such a sites repo? Where are the detailed steps described? I could not find anything at http://www.apache.org/dev/publishing-maven-artifacts.html.
