    Resolution: Fixed

changes: 
* pom version 3.0.0-SNAPSHOT, 
* Dependency version 3.0.0-alpha03-SNAPSHOT, 
* a new dependency version in the Eclipse style for plugings: 3.0.0.alpha03-SNAPSHOT (replace the first - with a . ), 
* change slf4j.version to 1.7.24 (from 1.7.13) to match uimaj, 
* change the maven-compiler-plugin to source and target 1.8 from 1.7, * * * change the uimaj-eclipse-feature-deployeditor/src/main/resources/feature.xml to use the new dependency version for eclipse style plugins.
