Ha! Now I am getting really miffed there is no Java 2 for my platform !
I expected this functionality to appear, just not so quickly!
This is very interesting, but having spent some time getting to know SVG I
find it a bit odd they had to write their own DTD for this. I guess these
things never work out in an ideal fashion. This is so much more verbose
than SVG!
At a cursory glance, I reckon it could be possible to write a stylesheet
that could convert between the two SVG and SWFML(?).
I wonder how they will incorporate some of the functionality of Flash4 like
the (utterly nasty) scripting capability.

Unfortunately tons of them :(
Well, I'm subscribed to something like 30 mailing lists and I receive
more or less 50 messages/day... at one point back in time I was
subscribed to twice as many but much more verbose ones... one day I
received 800 messages (100 of them being Kevin's jetspeed CVS commits)
so I decided to focus more and told people I know on the various mail
lists to copy me if something interesting happens.
Sort of mail agents :)

Try:
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
I am using Netscape in Linux, so their site gave me the download page
for the Linux flash player.
Good luck.
