Thank you for volunteering! To subscribe to the mailing list, you need to
send a message to  doc-subscribe@openoffice.apache.org  The procedure is
explained in the Using Mailing Lists section of
https://openoffice.apache.org/mailing-lists.html.
Once you are subscribed, I suggest you post a message briefly describing
your background and interests and we can discuss how to get you started on
something.
