[ANNOUNCE] Apache NetBeans 12.6 released

Hi all,

The Apache NetBeans team is pleased to announce that Apache NetBeans
12.6 was released on November 29th 2021*.

Apache NetBeans is a full IDE for Java SE, Java EE, PHP, JavaScript,
HTML5 and more, including some support for Groovy and C/C++.

New & noteworthy features of the 12.6 release :

https://netbeans.apache.org/download/nb126/

Downloads :

Apache NetBeans 12.6 is the latest quarterly release. See our release schedule :

https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/Release+Schedule

Feel free to share the good news!

* There is a short delay between official release and public
announcement to allow time to prepare additional convenience binaries,
e.g., installers, for distribution.

Thanks everyone, and best wishes,

Neil
on behalf of Apache NetBeans PMC

Ha! I fortunate coincidence, that’s for sure.

Thanks everyone.

Still lots of bugs to squish… but things are getting better one step at a time.

Cheers,

Scott

Thank you all!

BTW, I count the announcement as release day and with that, however
briefly, my wish to follow date based release numbering scheme, finally
came true!
