[site] redirects

Hola.

I've started work on redirects in the .htaccess file in /avalon/site. 
They are rather generic at the moment but hopefully will catch the 
majority of major breaks.  I'll try to find time over the next couple of 
days to go over it in more detail.  If anyone sees something obvious, 
please bring it up or make the change yourself!
