Subject: [Unverified Sender] RE: missing .jar files
Andy,
I'm getting close to producing the release. One of the things
I've done is removed the docs directory from CVS (well, really I just
deleted all the files within it). The idea is that the build script will
create a 'docs' directory in the 'build' directory and populate it with
the generated Javadoc and the generated web site.
But I'm still having trouble generating the web site and as far
as I can tell you're the only person that's been able to successfully
build it. Can you confirm once again (sorry) that it's building
correctly? Once I can build it I need to add a little bit of
documentation to it and then begin whatever process Apache requires for
generating releases.

hi brian,
the apache foundation has policies regarding
redistributing libraries from outside sources. we've removed a number of
libraries from our distribution to comply with apache policies. you'll
see a README in the ws-juddi/lib directory listing required libraries.
we're working on improving documentation. sorry for the
confusion,
cheers,
andy

Subject: missing .jar files
I'm trying to build, deploy, and use jUDDI from
what's currently in CVS, and I've found that some .jar files are missing
(unless my CVS client is lying to me, which sometimes happens). They
are:
/lib/saaj.jar (referred to by war target
in build.xml)
/lib/jaxrpc.jar (referred to by war target
in build.xml)
a .jar file with javax.servlet classes
(servlet.jar or j2ee.jar) (needed by compile target in
build.xml - project.classpath - *.jar)
Also, note that I'm using anonymous access to
the CVS server. I'm not sure if this makes a difference.
Thanks,
