Avalon in Cocoon 2.1

Hello,

Question about Avalon:

why does it come with Cocoon distribution?
Can I delete the excalibur and avalon jar files? Which samples use these components?

Thank you
Sylvain

RE: Avalon in Cocoon 2.1

Posted by Carsten Ziegeler <cz...@s-und-n.de>.
Avalon is a framework for component development (I hope noone kills me
for this simplification...). Cocoon is based on this framework, so
Avalon belongs to the core of Cocoon. Therefore you can't remove
those two jars from Cocoon - it would totally break Cocoon.
