Adding 10.7.1.4 as one of the available fix versions in jira?

Hi,

Changes for DERBY-5121 went into trunk and 10.7.1.4 and I would like
to mark those as the fix versions for DERBY-5121 in jira but 10.7.1.4
is not available as one of the fix versions? What needs to be done to
make 10.7.1.4 as an option in list of fix versions?

thanks,
Mamta

Thanks for that explanation, Kathey. That sounds like a good reason to
change the name of the head of the branch in JIRA. I have changed the
JIRA id from 10.7.1.3 to 10.7.1.4.

Thanks,

I think users will often pick up fixes from the head of the branch and
for them, it will be important if I am not mistaken to have the last
digit bumped so that the stored plans recompile. I might be
misunderstanding the issue as I haven't been tracking the trigger issues
closely. Please let me know if I am.

Thanks

Kathey

Hi Mamta,

I see that you bumped the release id on the 10.7 branch with revision
1086418. I think that if you revert that bumping (setting the release id
back to 10.7.1.3), then you will bring JIRA and the branch back into
agreement on what the release id is for the head of the 10.7 branch.
Then you can mark DERBY-5121 as fixed in 10.7.1.3. When a release
manager builds the next 10.7 release, they will change 10.7.1.3 to be
10.7.2.0. The 10.7.2 release notes will then include all fixes tagged
with the head of the branch.

Alternatively, I could change 10.7.1.3 to be 10.7.1.4 in JIRA but I
don't see any reason to change the name of the head of the branch right now.

Thanks,
-Rick
