Frankly, I have no idea what is wrong. Setting up SSL can be tricky and CLIENT-
CERT auth is even trickier. There are too many variables at work to even begin
to hazard a guess as to what the problem might be.
However, I have sucessfully used CLIENT-CERT authentication with 4.1.24 and
later versions. I am therefore closing this bug as works for me.
