My observation is ProxyTimeout (by 2.0.51) rather sets the Connect timeout, not
the read timeout.
Another bug regarding ProxyTimeout is, that neither Timeout nor ProxyTimeout
apply when an SSL proxy connection ("CONNECT") is established.
These connections never time out.
