   I'm having the same issue with nothing happening on Android, but I'm not able to resolve it by adding/removing the android platform. Any suggestions? It's working on iOS.
   
   I don't see any error messages in the JS console from using Chrome inspector either. I'm using the latest versions of cordova-android, cordova, ionic, and this plugin. I'm also using `cordova-plugin-ionic-webview`, although I'm not sure if that's related. I've tried on an Android device running Android 9.
