回复: [Draft] Devlake's podling report(Nov 2022)

Hi Hezheng,

Thanks for your comments, I've updated the podling report as below.
Welcome guys to continue to give comments and suggestions.

---
DevLake
DevLake is a development data platform, providing the data infrastructure
for developer teams to analyze and improve their engineering productivity.

DevLake has been incubating since 2022-04-29.

Three most important unfinished issues to address before graduating:
1. Grow the community, add committers and PPMC members
2. Grow the ecosystem, support more data sources and use cases

Are there any issues that the IPMC or ASF Board need to be aware of?
No issues at the moment.

How has the community developed since the last report?
1. 10 new contributors have joined the community (56 committers in total)
2. One new committer was elected
3. Hosted five community meetups

How has the project developed since the last report?
1. Made one release per month
2. Support DORA metrics, a well-publicized framework for measuring software
delivery performance
3. Add incoming webhook for users to actively push deployment data to
DevLake. This allows DevLake to work with any CI/CD system when it comes to
calculating DORA.
4. Differentiate between Scrum and Non-Scrum boards in Jira for more
accurate data aggregation
5. Prompts users to confirm DB migration during upgrade through Config-UI

How would you assess the podling's maturity?
Please feel free to add your own commentary.

[ ] Initial setup
[ ] Working towards first release
[x] Community building
[ ] Nearing graduation
[ ] Other:

Date of last release:
2022-10-14

When were the last committers or PPMC members elected?
2022-09-22

Have your mentors been helpful and responsive?
Yes, the mentors helped tremendously throughout version releases and
community governance.

Is the PPMC managing the podling's brand / trademarks?
There are no known brand and naming issues.

Hi Bin,

Thanks for volunteering to take care of this month's podling report!
Overall it looks good, please see my suggestions below:

Can we add the total number of contributors to DevLake besides the number
of new contributors?

How has the community developed since the last report?
> 1. 10 new contributors have joined the community
> 2. One new committer was elected
> 3. Hosted five community meetups
>

For the paragraph below, I suggest that we add some more context for
features. I tweaked the original version a little bit into:

> 1. Shipped versions: v0.12, v0.13 and v0.14, the latest release is v0.14.2

Thanks again for putting together this draft!

Hezheng
