[jira] [Created] (YARN-5527) Container still running when NodeManager shutdown

Xibo Wang created YARN-5527:
-------------------------------

Summary: Container still running when NodeManager shutdown
                 Key: YARN-5527
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-5527
             Project: Hadoop YARN
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 2.6.0
         Environment: Hadoop 2.6.0-cdh5.4.10
Linux cd5exg-b729b2.dev.betfair 2.6.18-406.el5xen #1 SMP Tue Jun 2 18:07:09 EDT 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
            Reporter: Xibo Wang

We are test the stability of our yarn application.

We have firstly a container running, then shutdown the node manager of that container via Cloudera Web UI.

The container is still running regardless of the node manager is already dead.
Then the AM creates a new container in another node manager. Now we have two containers running at the same time.
Is there anyway we can cleanup the old container when we shutdown the node manager?
