problem with mysql when running tomcat as a service

Hi,

When i try to run tomcat as a service and then try to access a mysql database it does not access the database...

but if i start tomcat by the following command tomcat start it starts in its usual way and runs absolutely fine...i can retrieve all the values and the whole code runs abslutely fine.i m using tomcat for running jsp pages..

the drivers i m using the following drivers for mysql
are mm.mysql.jdbc-1.0....
