Bryant Yao commented on HADOOP-5911:
------------------------------------
Hi, I am a USC student in Chris Mattmann's class. I wanted to create an Hadoop-specific launch configuration for my class project which will help fix this issue. I was wondering if there was any help you could give me in figuring out the requirements for this issue. Thanks!

> Eclipse has a notion of "run configuration", which encapsulates what's needed to run or debug an application. I use this quite a bit to start various Hadoop daemons in debug mode, with breakpoints set, to inspect state and what not.
