a algorithm based on Symmetric Key Signatures

Hi,
 
In Publik Key Signatures, we can use DSS, but I don't know any one for Symmetric Key Signatures.
May you please mention one algorithm that use this one?

HMAC-SHA1 is one such algorithm - "
http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#hmac-sha1".
