Exception Handling and JXTemplates

I'm using Cocoon 2.1.7 with a pipeline based on JX Templates.

Is there a possibility of getting nice SAXParse Exceptions, including a nice line number and a nice error message? Currently I get a kind of "pipeline processing" exception with a nested class cast exception.

Regards,
 Michael

Cocoon 2.1.8 introduced "Cocoon stack traces" which give much better
info, see for example
