Line 2000:16 in hive-default.xml.template is
<value>auth</auth>

I think is invalid and it will lead Hive crash if you use this template. The error message is as followed:
[Fatal Error] hive-site.xml:2000:16: The element type "value" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</value>".
