[jira] [Commented] (CONNECTORS-1066) Don't send empty fields to Solr

Hi Alessandro,

Patch looks reasonable, but I have a question. For Solr fields, is there any difference between a blank value and no value at all? In other words, can you construct a query that would match a blank value that would not match a completely missing value? If there is a difference from the query side, then we have to make this functionality conditional, no?
