T5: Grid Component in a form

Is the Grid Component only for viewing data or will changes be written
when it is enclosed in a form?
When I click my checkboxes in my grid and press submit the changes
arent, as far as I see, written back to my properties

It won't be fixed for 5.0.3. I need to switch gears, desperately.

It's mostly about the Loop not being fully configured, via the encoder
parameter.

Grid needs an (optional) encoder parameter that can be passed to the
Loop component.

I need to implement the equivalent of T4's inherited bindings to do
this properly.

Ok,
Do you think this is something that will be fixed before the 5.0.3 release?
Also, is it a problem with the Loop component, or the way the Loop
component is used in the Grid?

The Loop at the core of the Grid component needs some work (some
additional parameters) to work properly inside a Form.
