How to read Excel having List type cell

Hi,

I am reading excel using POI, but I have started getting an error :

I found this happens if my excel have a cell that is defined as List
using Data -> Validation -> settings -> list



Its more strange that this cell is being the first time by Poi but if I
open the excel and change the list cell value and save and read again
thru my application using POI, the above error comes, if I change this
cell type as data->validation->settings->any value, then no problem in
reading the excel.
