UnknownHostException

Hi all,

I'm running hbase 0.2.1 on top of Hadoop 0.17.2.1 on a Ubuntu VM, and it's
running fine. I can create/alter tables, ect...

My problem is when i'm tying to run a client, like hbase shell. The shell
starts fine, but when I'm trying to connect to the server I get an
exception:

hbase(main):001:0> list
08/09/17 08:46:45 INFO client.HConnectionManager$TableServers: Attempt 0 of
3 failed with <java.net.UnknownHostException: unknown host: hdfs://

I can ssh to the server from the client without a p passphrase and username.
My hbase-site.xml file on the server has the this property:

<property>

    <value>hdfs://localhost:54310/hbase</value>

The directory shared by region servers.

  </property>

And my hbase-site.xml on the client has these properties
<property>

    <value>hdfs://192.168.253.130:60000</value>

      The host and port that the HBase master runs at. A value of
      'local' runs the master and a regionserver in a single process.

  </property>

  <property>

    <value>hdfs://192.168.253.132:60000/hbase</value>

Not need in the client.
      The directory shared by region servers. Should be
      fully-qualified to include the filesystem to use.

  </property>

When I run 'sudo netstat -plten | grep java' and a 'jps'

I can se that
NameNode is running on port 54310 on the server
