[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-8985) Configs: NameNode Heapsize stack advisor

Dmitry Lysnichenko created AMBARI-8985:
------------------------------------------

Summary: Configs: NameNode Heapsize stack advisor
                 Key: AMBARI-8985
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-8985
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: ambari-server
    Affects Versions: 1.7.0
            Reporter: Dmitry Lysnichenko
            Assignee: Dmitry Lysnichenko
             Fix For: 2.0.0
         Attachments: AMBARI-8985.patch

HDFS -> NameNode Java heap size.
There are currently no dynamic checks on this number. Changing it to 2MB, nor does changing it to a ridiculously large value given the size of the VM should be checked via Stack Advisor and warn the user appropriately.
