[PATCH] Bugzilla Bug 8491
Hi !
Attached a patch that fixes the bugzilla bug 8491:

"Authentikation" really isn't a proper german word! The official, german
standard work 'Duden' says that "Authentifikation" is the correct spelling.
Also "Authentisierung" is possible, "Authentifikation" is definitely
correct!
Also I corrected the word "authorisiert". It definitely should be
"autorisiert".
greetings,
erik
P.S.: On both errors above I consulted three different dictionaries to
ensure my modifications, so it should be correct :-)

Nope. I could not find "Authentifikation" in *any* dictionary.
(Duden, 22. Auflage; dict.leo.org; google; and some other)
(And what should be the corresponding verb? "authentifizieren" (eq
"beglaubigen")? That's wrong in all cases.)
Sorry, "Authentisierung" in conjunction with "authentisieren" is IMHO
the *only* correct way.

That's correct ;-)

Which dictionaries did you use?

I used Duden (?. Auflage), Duden (Das grosse Fremdwrterbuch) and Pons
Wrterbuch. But you're right, on the net I can't find it too.

I just phoned the 'Duden Spelling Bureau' and they gave me the information,
that "Authentisierung" resp. "authentisieren" are the correct words. In
their opinion "Authentifikation" is very unusual...well thats tricky ;-)

I suggest to use "Authentisierung"; a new patch is attached.
Thanks for the objections, Andre...
