Zenkovac updated NIFI-10413:
----------------------------
Summary: PutORC processor filename property (was: PutORC - filename property)
> PutORC processor filename property
> ----------------------------------
>
> Key: NIFI-10413
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-10413
> Project: Apache NiFi
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Configuration
> Reporter: Zenkovac
> Priority: Minor
>
> When you merge/partition lots of flowfiles, the resulting flowfile filename may be the same for some of them, so before you send it to a filesystem like hdfs you have to use an update attribute processor just before the putORC so it wont fail because of a previous file existing with the same name.
> Please consider adding a property in Put* processors so you can alter the filename, using expression lenguage like ${UUID()}, and use 1 less processor in flows.
