Is versioning supported in Slide

Hi All,

I am working on implementation of slide. I am exploring the versioning
through Slide API. I have run the example given in the slide. it is
running successfully. Bit it is not updating anything in the database.
Now I am not clear whether Slide supports versioning or not. Can I
really control the document versioning?
