I'm not following what this does. When I apply this I get errors that it can't find parent.
What version of Maven are you on?
Is the problem that the Parent POM, in ./maven/pom.xml doesn't get installed?

yes the problem is that the pom isn't installed.
I sent you the wrong patch. The string in the <module> should be 'maven', not parent.
I use 2.1.0.
