possibly scripting for jsieve

not sure about mime4j

Does this mean that classification only exists in the web and for svn
they are all at the same level? Or a main classification exists also in
svn and then additional classifications are added on the web?

I find that deep nesting in svn does not help browsing/searching things
so I'm slightly toward a solution that give us a single folder in svn
and groups on the web.

So the toplevel menu could be changed from products to categories, in a
similar way:

- server
  - containing only the server product, maybe with optional modules in
future.
- mailet
  - api
  - base
  - crypto
  - sieve
  - domainkey
- mime4j
- jsieve
- protocols
  - imap
  ... (more to come)
- antispam
  - jspf
  .... (domainkey/dkim/srs/bayes)
- proofing
  - postage
  - mpt

I don't like the mix between categories and products, expecially for
mime4j and jsieve. Maybe they can be placed in a category too? Any idea?

I like the idea of multiple classifications. For example jDKIM might
be classified under crypto, antispam and mailet. Pages would be
created for crypto and antispam describing James capabilities in this
area.

antispam sounds like a better title that jSPF. it could link to a sub
site at http://james.apache.org/antispam to give a introduction to
spam fighting with James.

along those lines, postage and MPT are both proofing libraries. they
could usefully be grouped. if any other protocols are factored out
then IMAP would be grouped with other protocols.

i would really like a inherited menu listing everything at James with
(multiple) categorisation. there's a lot of stuff in James and one of
the advantages of factoring libraries out is that it gives more
visibility.

Hi,

I would list jDKIM under jSPF.. And when jDKIM is complete we just
need to find some time to extract the bayesian stuff to provide a
complete set of antispam libs ;-)

The "IMAP" seems too small compared to our other logos, but this is a
detail ;-)

We should start thinking how to deal with the expanding top level menu.
At 800x600 this does no more fit the menu bar.
=====================
- JAMES Project
- Server
- Mailets
  - api
  - base
  - standard
  - crypto
- jSPF
- Mime4J
- JSieve
- Postage
- IMAP
- MPT
- jDKIM ?
